...The first bus I wanted to board had broke down with the passengers stranded.
Funny enough, it would take God's intervention or a phone call to the main Car Park for them to get another vehicle to the spot the bus broke down.
It then dawned on me the reason He told me to wait.
I couldn't contain my joy.
I muttered “Thank you, Jesus.”
And, the thought came...
Do you know this is the same way people rush into marriage despite the warning signals?
Aunty, I know you're about approaching 30 or you are even above.
But, be calm please.
The pressure. Feeling of lateness. In a hurry to be called "Mrs".
Please, don't ignore the leading of God and those warning signals.
Don't try to take decisions with your head knowledge. You may end halfway.
The first bus I would have boarded couldn't convey its passengers to their destination. If I had disobeyed, I would equally be stranded. And, begin to wait for another vehicle. When in the real sense of it, a vehicle that can take me to my destination without going through those hurdles was already on the road. I only needed to WAIT.
People may feel you're getting older. Some may say all sorts of things behind you or even to your face.
Pay no attention. Your journey is different from theirs.
Just hold on to God.
Believe in His timing.
There's more to a beautiful marriage. It's not just about who gets married first.
Will you be able to fulfill purpose in it? A lot of critical questions are to be answered.
That marriage will happen when you least expected. Just do all that is expected of you. God will handle it best.
Don't lose hope. Don't rush in. It will happen at the right time with the right person.
To your relationship success.
