The next striking word in award is RAW. What does this have to do with you getting the award?
I realized in the war zone, everyone has access to the same raw materials but what separates those who get the awards from those who don’t is what each individual does with the raw materials.
For instance, in a department with over 100 students all having access to the same lecturer, same academic facilities and same materials, a very few will graduate with Distinction, some will end with a Second Class, some a Third Class while a few will close with an Extra Year. But of all these categories, only ONE will emerge the Overall Best Student. Why? What he/she was able to do with the raw materials.
Secondly, you as a person also must be transformed between the period when you entered the field and when you gain the award. You entered RAW but you can’t afford to remain raw if you must win the award.
The thirst and hunger for the award will birth some transformation in you which will make you lay claim on the award without dispute. If this transformation don’t take place, another will get the award.
What are you doing with your raw materials? Are you still in the raw state or in the processing stage for the finished product to emerge?
