Ever wondered why AWARDS are given to a few set of people while some others never get any all their lives? Well, the answer isn’t far fetched. We will look at some interesting words in AWARD and we will realize the secrets behind awards.
In this post we will consider the word, WAR. War generally occurs when there’s a tussle for power, meaning there’s something at stake which either of the parties involved wants to lay claim on.
This is what also happens when it comes to getting awards in any area of life, be it academics, career, social, and the likes. Before you’re awarded the best in a course, department, position, organization or whatever, you must have engaged in a competition consciously or unconsciously with some other parties and at the end, your results must standout amongst that of others.
This means anyone who isn’t willing to engage in the war (not necessarily physical), has automatically lost out on the award. If you’re aiming to someday get an award for an outstanding performance, your first step is getting into the WAR ZONE. You can’t be in the Art department and be awarded the best student in the Electrical department. Why? You’re not in that war zone.
Have you stepped into the war zone where your desired award is?
