Almost everyone in life has a dream either small or big but not everyone truly has a dream, infact, what most people have is a wish. A DREAM comes with at least three elements as part of the package. What are the three things a dream will make you do?
These three things are embedded in the word DREAM itself and they are:
Everyone who truly has a dream must have these three things if his/her dream must come to pass. Let’s discuss each of them briefly.
DARE: A dream should be something way beyond your capacity based on your present position at that particular point in life. It is an achievement that should make you scared from the onset because it should be bigger than what your present circumstances can achieve without extra effort.
DEAR: Someone with a dream holds that dream dear to him in his heart. A dream must be precious to you that you’re not willing to let any of the forces of nature talk you out of it. It is something you’re eager to see become a reality.
READ: Lastly, a true dream will make you read, that is, it will make you study. Remember you’re aiming at a spot you’ve never been and which you can’t just get to based on your present level of knowledge. So to achieve your dream, you go after any vital knowledge that will make it possible for you to achieve that dream.
If your dream doesn’t make you dare nature, if it isn’t dear to you and if it doesn’t force you to read up, what you have is only a WISH and not a DREAM. Do you have a dream? If yes, what are you doing about it?
